Cigarettes Seized in Sherbrooke: Five Persons Arrested by the RCMP

This morning in Sherbrooke, the RCMP dismantled an organization involved in the distribution and sale of contraband tobacco products. The police officers conducted five searches and seized approximately 430,000 contraband cigarettes, as well as seven vehicles. Violent criminal removed from Canada

The Canada Border Services Agency (CBSA) today confirmed the deportation of Samuel Martin Luin. The Edmonton resident was deported under escort by CBSA officers on November 9, 2009. Mr. Luin was convicted of 17 offences including sexual assault and assault causing bodily harm. He was also convicted of assaulting a peace officer while incarcerated. More...
